About You - Once Upon A Sketch Aug 15th challenge

Some new pages!

I can't believe that I haven't scrapped anything for almost a month! Time flies sometimes.....Especially when you work full time. We went on a vacation with the extended family to Sisters, Or. and had a fabulous time. I started to scrap my photos from it this weekend.

I guess I forgot to put this page on my blog! I made the big green flower following a tutorial by Gabrielle....and painted the chipboard bird cage with acrylic paint and stickles.

Hello! Happy Sunday all.... I have been busy the past few days.....doing some soul searching: writing in my journal, did a little baking, spending some time with my daughter.....it has been therapeutic... Anyway here is my take on the June 15th challenge over at Once Upon a Sketch....based on the theme a moment in time.....

Ikaika

My daughter took this picture of our Siberan Husky this past winter...I thought it was amazing! He looks so serious, but is the most goofy, loving dog ever. I wanted to use a black/silver color scheme. I thought it was appropriate to add a bit of the sky blue for his eyes.

Lost in a DayDream

This is a picture of my kids a couple of years ago at Lake Cushman. They were literally "lost in a daydream" and it was one of those great photgraphic moments that you want to preserve. Especially since they were sitting so close and not fighting!!! I thought that the Webster's Yacht Club papers would be perfect for it. Enjoy!
